Hi, performers and achievers. Welcome to Performers and Achievers Daily with me, Raj Gavrilla. In today's episode, who are performers and achievers? Are you a performer and achiever? A performer and achiever comes from all walks of life. They can be a founder, owner, entrepreneur, executive, any type of professional, sports coach, sports player, athlete, a dancer, a singer, an actor, actress, really anyone. Someone presenting. So it's all walks of life, from all walks of life. A teacher, students, really be anyone. However, I'm not able to help everyone. And therefore, a performer and achiever is passionate to progress at any age. A performer and achiever has passion to progress at any age. That's how I help. And yes, I have people at all spectrums or all levels. I have people who are owners, they're looking to develop, grow their business sustainably, entrepreneurs, other people, professionals of all types, sports coaches, sports players, people who are presenting, or they want to progress in their presentation skills. And so they have or they can gain the knowledge as far as all of those different professions or initiatives that they participate in. However, where I help is on the mental skills there. So to have the mental skills as well as the specific skills in order to participate in whatever it is your initiative is. So you could be uh anyone really that uh wants to progress at any age, has a passion to do so, and they want to learn and implement, apply, or apply and implement the mental performance strategies, skills, mental preparation, and mental tools. And usually this is in the following areas. One is performance anxiety or stress, pressure, overwhelm. Next is overthinking, next is unstable confidence or underperformance. They want consistency. The next is the environment is toxic. Communication leadership caused by specific person or persons, and then the last is apprehensive about competing at the next level of success. And so let's take a look at this. You have people who are owners, founders, owners, entrepreneurs, executives, professionals, at a variety of ages. Right? At a variety of ages. At any age? And you can reflect or think about, you know, where do you work, maybe, or just in general, the community you live in? Are there people there who are performers and achievers? And they are at different ages. Most places are like that. Now, some people think that well, yeah, that's that's good in some areas. I can see that. However, uh, to play sports, uh, you gotta be young, you gotta be this, you gotta be that, and I'm not here to argue with anyone or about that. I mean, each person's situation is different. However, I do know that for me, example, for example, I play soccer when I'm not injured currently um rehabbing uh a knee injury, so I haven't been able to play as much. I do some shadow work and practice and train and look like I'm playing in the backyard. However, I play soccer and we play it upward in Spartanburg, and there are two games or two matches going on. One is for thirty-five and under, and the other is for I guess thirty-six and above, and I play with the thirty-five and under. Am I thirty-five or younger? No, however, I also have the right support system around me so that I'm able to do that. So, for example, like most of you, I have a family doctor or family practice doctor, family care doctor. I have a functional medicine doctor, I have another type of doctor, physical therapist, and then as needed a chiropractor, and then I have another professional who is what I call my prevention, longevity, athleticism, strength, and conditioning coach, and so I also am a member of a tennis club. We have people there at all ages, and they're playing tennis, and regardless of whether or not you're playing for the exercise to make progression there, to make progression in tennis. You can make progression in tennis at any age, and that's what brings the endorphins: the enjoyment, the fun, the satisfaction, the fulfillment. Uh, make friends as well, and be outside and just enjoy playing tennis. It's just really a good sport. Same with soccer, and then I also don't play as much, but I play basketball, and I am coached by a basketball coach, and to me, it's something that I enjoy, and I like progressing, and at least for me, it's better than doing other forms of exercises, and that's okay if you like to do other forms of exercises. I myself would rather play soccer or basketball or tennis, whether or not I'm actually playing a match, a game, or um being coached and playing in that sense, or trained in playing in that sense, is still to me playing a sport. And I'd rather do it that way than let's say go rock climbing for an hour, hour and a half, or go for a run for an hour and an hour and a half. Uh, that doesn't mean that if you're a runner, which I do help runners, that I'm not able to help you. Sure, I am. I'm just saying for my specific situation, those are the three sports that I mainly participate in. And sometimes I do go for a run. Every once in a while, I like to go for a run and I run sprints, and then also I have a meal prep plan so it's low sodium, no sugar. There might not be any sodium in it, and then of course, I do the other stuff like drink uh the right amount of water slowly, eat fruit before I exercise, and then drink electrolyte mix and uh fruit after I exercise. And so, obviously, stretchings included in my prevention, longevity, athleticism, strength, and conditioning. And so I would ask you to at least look into that if you do like to play sports and you just maybe have this barrier that your age is keeping you from doing so. Uh the same thing in your business, although it's not as prevalent in business. Especially these days where a lot can be done online. There's uh different types of businesses, there's some like lifestyle businesses, there's just different ways of uh being able to help other people or your customers, whomever they may be.
